Thinking about Investing in a Rental Property

This article is called Thinking about Investing in a Rental Property. It was posted by Dustin Graham and appeared on The Canadian Real Estate Wealth website. It was published on March 12, 2015. There is more to renting a property than meet the eye. There are things to consider when making your and your tenant’s life easier.  Upgraded units go on higher rent and will have more attention from tenants. The keys thing is to always keep the unit up-to-date and clean. Offer your help with the upgrade and the maintenance of the house. Always be available to your tenant with all the property needs. Show your appreciation towards the tenants and keep a healthy relationship. Make sure you know all your rights and legal obligations towards your property and the tenant. By doing these things, you are making your reputation as a property investor and won’t have difficulties finding tenants in the future.
