This article is called Condo market bounces back across GTA after 2013 slump. It was written by Susan Pigg and appeared on the Toronto Star website. This article discusses about how new condos sales have climbed back up in 2014 from the collapsed we had in 2013. According to the research firm from Urbanation, GTA records the third-highest sales ever. In 2014, about 20,809 condo units were completed and 86 per cent of that had been pre-sold. As of the end of 2014, almost 52,500 new condos were under construction, 198 new projects across the GTA, 28,447 units were in pre-construction that went up for sale last year and were already 69 per cent pre-sold. For 2015, more mid-rise, family-style projects were launched and 50 buildings between four and 11 storeys high are in development in the city of Toronto. Developers are also focusing on building more two-bedroom units and rental apartments.
